Flower Culture #4: Controlling Pests

I need to name three kinds of pests and how to control them.

Aphids: Knock them off the plant with a hose, or spray the plant with soapy water, witch kills the aphids, but is harmless to the plant and environment.

Beetles: Hand pick them off, or leave a bowl of water with a little oil or kerosene on top.

Lilac borers: Kill the parents before they lay eggs, or break the eggs by spraying them with water.
