The Eagle

This is the Eagle. A sailing ship used by the U.S. Coast Guard for training.


See the moss-looking stuff on some of the wires? I forgot what this is called, I call it fuzzy stuff. It is used to help the sails from tearing and ripping.


This is Mr.Tomlinson who is our Pathfinder leader. He is a chaplain at the U.S. Coast Gaurd. Standing beside him is Seaman May. She showed us around the ship.


I had a lot of fun on the ship.


On the way back to the car, a ladybug flew onto Father's arm. I thought that was pretty cool.
